are actually thirsty. Drinking a glass of water

Do not starve yourself. Moderation is the key. Binge
dieting is
very dangerous. Start listening to your body.
Take the time to
chew all of your food & enjoy it.
Thin people enjoy their food and
take their time to taste every

and control your portions -

you want. Moderation is the key. Next time you
want that rich
dessert, go ahead and treat yourself,
but take 1/2 a slice & take

Don't be a slave to food. Enjoy your food. Cut your
portions in

ahead & eat some more, but again don't take
more than you are
actually hungry for. Don't feel that you
have to finish every bite,
just because there are people starving in
the world. You
will see
a change in your weight and appearance. The better
you feel
about the food you eat, the less likely you will be to
binge out.
Eat more natural Foods. The more natural a food is, the more
work your body has to do to digest this food.
Most Fast Food is
already processed. Processed food means that
your body will
not have to work to digest the food meaning, that
those calories
will more quickly be turned into fat. This is
one of the key reasons
that Whole Grain Flour is better than White
Flour. The same goes
for Brown Rice vs. White Rice. Soy
Milk and Rice Milk are much
healthier for you than
Cow's Milk is. If you click

for you. I came to a plateau in
my weight loss at one point. We
had some really awesome
coupons for Soy Milk, so I stocked up.
When I made the switch
to soy milk, I dropped 10 lbs. in less than
2 weeks. I have a
friend who could not tolerate soy. She
switched
to Rice Milk,
and noticed the lbs just melt away as
well.
Start reading the labels on the foods you buy. If your food
contains chemicals that you cannot even pronounce then
chances are
it is loaded with preservatives and chemicals that
are not very
healthy for you. Take the time to cook fresh food,
even if it
means using the crock-pot. The fresher your food, the
more
healthy it will be for you. If your body is not
getting the
proper nutrition it needs, then you will feel hungry
even when
you have eaten a full mood. Those cravings are
telling you that
your body is not getting the nutrition it needs to
function properly.

When you are making desserts like
brownies or cakes that call for
oil in the recipe, substitute it for all
natural unsweetened apple
sauce for a fat free version. For Low Carb

Start taking a
multi-vitamin.
This will assist you in getting all of
the nutrition your
body needs. When your body is lacking in
nutrition, it will bring on cravings for foods you will end up over
eating.
Another important key to changing your metabolism and burning
fat is
by adding some form of exercise. Don't we all know of a thin
person who has a nervous habit like twiddling their thumbs or
tapping their foot ? Just that little bit of movement burns
off tons
of calories over the course of a day. I am not
suggesting you take
up
one of these habits, but just moving &
keeping busy will keep
you
much healthier, and you don't have to
workout for 3 hours a
day to
receive benefits from exercise.
An easy way to begin an
exercise routine is to start moderately,
and build up. If
you can only handle walking, then park your car a
few stalls further
every time you go to the store or to work. Each
day park one
stall further away from the door. In no time at all
you will
be able to park at the end of the parking lot, and add more
walking
into your routine. If at any time you feel like you are short
of breath, then park in the stall you feel you can comfortably park
at
without running out of breath, until you can move to the next
stall
further away.
This concept applies to all exercise. If you can handle 5
sit-ups a
day, then the next day build up to 6 sit-ups & so on.
Find an exercise that you will stick with. If you like
swimming,
then take a water aerobics class. A lot of YWCA's
have
inexpensive programs you can join. The key is to find
something
you will stick with and not become bored with or that will
leave
you gasping for
air.
You should be able to talk normally while
doing
as much activity as
you can handle for the level you are
at.
Change your exercise routine regularly, so you don't get bored.
You will get the added benefit of working different muscles.
You
should not work the same muscles 7 days a week. You need
to
take at least one day off a week to let the muscles repair
themselves.
An exercise will continue to give the muscles you
worked out benefit
for 48 hours. This is why a lot of weight
lifters
will alternate back and
forth which groups of muscles they
will
work out.
It will take at least 3 weeks to a month before you start to see
any
changes in your body, but added activity will help you to
lose
weight
much faster, as well as burn off the most stubborn
fat.
Any added activity will help you burn off energy. Start off
slow,
and build up. People who work out get the added benefit
of endorphins
that are released. Endorphins help fight off
depression as well as help
you get a better nights sleep.
You
just can't lose, but you have to start
somewhere. You Can
